Laura-An Rizza/philosophical therapist & counselor

I hold a Bachelor’s - and Master’s degree in History (Free University of Brussels) as well as a Bachelor’s en Master’s degree in Philosophy & Moral Sciences (Free University of Brussels). Subsequently I immersed myself as a researcher in the subjects of loneliness/solitude and psychiatry. I obtained a diploma in Logotherapy & Existential Analysis (Viktor Frankl Institute Ireland + Vienna) and completed a training in Logic-Based Therapy & Consultation (Logic-Based Therapy & Consultation Institute). Currently I’m a PhD-candidate on the subject of Philosophical Therapy, its demarcations and fundaments (Free University of Brussels). As a mental health care advocate, I’m broadening my scope through a MA in Health Care Policy and Management (KULeuven).

I am a member of the NPCA (The National Philosophical Counseling Association, V.S. https://npcassoc.org/) and co-founder of the Belgian Association for Practical Philosophy (Belgische Vereniging voor Praktische Filosofie).
